Carcharodontosaurus saharicus Foot Claw and Foot Bones
Mid-Cretaceous, Albian Age
Kem-Kem Basin, South of Taouz, K'Sar es Souk Province, Morocco.Claw measures 3
1/4 inches long ,Beautiful claw from this Giant African predatory Dinosaur. In
my collection for the last number of year. There is some restoration near
the very tip approx about 10% the work was professionally carried out in the
UK,This foot claw is the most solid I have ever seen, really excellent claw and
when it was found the very tip about 5 mm was missing, this does not in any way
detract from the claw as the work is so wll done.I have photographed the tip
area so as bidders can see for themselves the quality of the work .Dinosaur
claws are impossible to find anymore as the deposits have been seriously
depleted. There are a lot of fakes carved out of camel bone or Mosa bone, this is
100% guaranteed authentic hence all the close up photos ,The toe bones are
complete and have no repair or fabrication and are exactly as found, very solid
and heavy and rare..The toebones measure 4 inches and 3 inches and with the claw
total measurement is approx 10 inches..a great fossil.
