Ultra rare Basilosaurus Jaw section with associated Molar teeth, jaw measures 280mm x 180mm approx. This fossil is beyond rare, could benefit from some prep work which would increase its value. This is the Basilosaurus Fossil Site in the Western Sahara .






Basilosaurus Giant toothed Whale was the Apex predator in the Ancient seas of the Eocene Age approx 40 Million years ago. Basilosaurus grew as long as 60 feet. These teeth are from a new location in the Western Sahara very close to the Mauritania/Morocco Border. This site is a coastal site right on the Atlantic ocean.This location is becoming increasingly difficult to prospect due to the civil unrest in the area .These are very rare and valuable teeth and are a must for the serious collector.All the teeth and the Jaw section are from the one location and some of the teeth are associated.This canine tooth measures 85mm  700 euro.
